Visitor Centre / Café

Located in the Visitor Centre are the Dragonfly Café and also the Park Office. Outside the building you will find toilets with disabled access and a large area for parking cycles.

Toilets are currently open between 9am and 5pm.

The Dragonfly Café is offering crockery service with indoor and outdoor seating available and also a takeaway service and is open daily from 9am to 4pm. For any queries about the café, please call 01234 331278.

Please refer to menus for full range of food and drinks.

The Dragonfly kiosk is open weekends and school holidays until  5pm, where iced teas and coffees are offered in addition to the usual drinks menu.

( Café and kiosk may close early in severe weather conditions )

Wheelchairs (x2) are available on loan for use in the Park. Please contact a Park Warden to arrange by telephoning 01234 720016.

Opening Hours

The Park is open to visitors 365 days a year. This also applies to the main car park but not to the overspill car park which closes at 5:00pm each day.

The Park is owned and managed by Bedford Borough Council. The Friends of Harrold-Odell Country Park work in partnership with Council staff and run this web site.

Emergencies should be reported to the staff or direct to the appropriate emergency service.
