Covid-19

Please note that the café is now closed until further notice

Due to the COVID 19 outbreak, the Borough Council has announced a stop to the activities of all the volunteer groups operating in the Borough.

Accordingly, from next Monday, March 23rd, there will be no more volunteer tasks being run in the park until further notice, both weekly and monthly.

As a result, planned events are also cancelled for the foreseeable future. This includes the Easter Egg Hunt

Also, please note that all Health Walks are cancelled until further notice.

We will let you know when we have a change on the present situation. Meanwhile, the park is still open for recreation and, thanks to the hard work of all our volunteers over the winter, is in good shape for the coming months. Very many thanks to all.

Opening Hours

The Park is open to visitors 365 days a year. This also applies to the main car park but not to the overspill car park which closes at 5:00pm each day.

The Dragonfly café is open daily between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm (5pm during summer holidays).

The Park is owned and managed by Bedford Borough Council. The Friends of Harrold-Odell Country Park work in partnership with Council staff and run this web site.

Emergencies should be reported to the staff or direct to the appropriate emergency service.
